— Regulatory energy audit · Climate Law
In Lille, an energy audit is mandatory when selling an F or G-rated home since April 2023, extended to E-rated homes since 2025. Expect an average of €400-800 for an apartment, more for a house.
The energy audit goes further than the DPE: it proposes a costed work plan to reach DPE B (ideal target) or D (minimum step). It is attached to the sale agreement and the buyer cannot waive it.

Only professionals qualified OPQIBI (thermal engineers), Qualibat 8731, or certified "audit energetique" inspectors via a Cofrac-accredited body. Otherwise the audit is invalid.
